When a young boy is sick and bedridden, his grandfather decides to read aloud to entertain him. The story revolves around Buttercup, a young woman who, in the wake of her true love Westley’s untimely death, is betrothed to the sinister Prince Humperdink. When Buttercup is kidnapped as part of a plot to start a war between Humperdink’s country and its neighbor, a masked stranger races the clock to save her before Humperdink can, who plans to use Buttercup as pawn in a much larger evil plan. To save Buttercup, the masked stranger must battle the band of misfits who kidnapped her using his swashbuckling skills and wit, which makes for a story filled with humor, mystery, and above all, romance.
