The Second City has served as the breeding ground for comedy’s most original performers since its very beginnings in the late 1950s. Sayjal Joshi
From North Carolina, Sayjal Joshi, she earned her BA in Theater from UNC Greensboro and co-founded Greensboro's first improv club, The Idiot Box. Most recently, she has been touring with The Second City Touring Company’s, critically acclaimed Asian-American sketch group, Stir-Friday Night!, the Boom Chicago Battlejam Amsterdam, and The Chicago Bobs. .
Shad Kunkle
From Iowa, Shad has been improvising in Chicago for over 8 years and has worked with the Improv Olympic and Comedy Sports Chicago. He currently performs with Carl and The Passions and the Armando Diaz Experience. .
Michael Lehrer
Michael Lehrer most recently worked with The Second City Las Vegas, as well as a joint engagement in Atlanta with The Alliance Theater. He has improvised with i.O. Chicago and Comedysportz, appeared on TV in the nationally syndicated Sports Action Team, been a contributor for ESPN Radio, and has had his work featured on CNBC.com. .
Katie Rich
A Chicago native, Katie earned a BS from Northwestern University before getting the opportunity to tour with The Second City. She also performs at the iO Chicago with Carl and the Passions, the Frank Hayes 4, The Deltones Improvised Musical, and Women Aren’t Funny. You can see her in those ubiquitous Sonic Drive-in commercials, in Martin Short’s Let Freedom Hum, in the Harold Ramis movie The Ice Harvest, and with Abigail Breslin in the upcoming film, Janie Jones. .
Tim Stoltenberg
Hailing from Wisconsin, with a degree in Theatre from St. Norbert’s College, Tim Stoltenberg has most recently lived in Atlanta, Georgia for where he worked with The Second City in the show Atlanta –Too Busy to Hate, Too Hard to Commute. Tim has also worked with such companies as; The Alliance, Academy, Scyconithicity, Laughing Matters, Agatha’s, and was the Improv Director for Dad’s Garage Theatre for 4 years where he regularly performed and taught improv. .
