FCPS presents

Honors Chorus

Students from Frederick County Public School’s 5th grade Honors Chorus grace the stage of the Weinberg Center for the Arts. This year’s guest conductor will be Brent Talbot.  This year also marks the 32nd anniversary of the FCPS Elementary Honors Chorus – an auditioned group of 5th grade students representative of the top 5% of their school’s grade enrollment.  These students rehearse on their own, with their music teachers, and with a professional conductor to prepare for this special concert.  The program represents a wide spectrum of musical genres, and showcases the remarkable talent of our elementary singers.
