TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

There are no refunds or exchanges (Member exclusion on Exchanges); all sales are final.  Refunds are only issued in the case of an event cancellation.

Brokers, Scalpers, & Third-Party Sellers

Tickets to all our events are sold only through WeinbergCenter.org exclusively, or through our box office (either in-person or by phone).  The only noted exceptions to this are CertifiKID and GoldStar.  Please be careful when searching for tickets online, as Third-Party/”Scalper” sites are often the first results to appear.  If you purchase tickets from one of these sites, you are paying a much higher price than you need to.  If tickets are purchased through these sites, the tickets may or may not be valid, and the Weinberg Center is unable to resolve any issue involving such a purchase.  In cases of Event cancellations/postponements, the Weinberg Center notifies the buyer of our tickets ONLY and not the buyers through these Third Party sites.  The following is a list (by no means a complete list) of known Third Party/”Scalper” sites: SeatGeek, VividSeats, Tickets-Center, TicketSales, TicketOnSale, Stubhub, and EventTicketsCenter.  If you are not on WeinbergCenter.org, then you are on the wrong website for purchases.

Contact Information

We reccommend to all patrons that you provide us with an accurate postal mailing address, email address, and valid phone number.  All contact information shared with us remains private and will not be shared with any outside party.  Should the need arise for us to contact you directly, we will try our email contacts first.  Please make certain that emails are being received and are not being sent to Spam or Junk Email folders.  Phone numbers are secondary.  It is strongly encouraged of patrons to check their email prior to visiting us at least 24 hours before their arrival.  If you are moving, please let us know so that we may update your information for future use.

Inclement Weather Policy

When weather events occur and impact our performances, we will make announcements on our phone line immediately (301-600-2828) and post a notice here on our website as soon as we can.  Furthermore, we will also send out an email notification to all patrons that purchased for the affected performance (provided we have your email on file).  If time permits, we will also call all patrons that we have a contact phone number for.

In the event of inclement weather that prevents the artist/act from arriving at our venue, we will first attempt to reschedule the performance if it can be. If you cannot make the new date, we will offer a refund for your tickets.  If the performance is canceled outright, we will offer refunds for all ticket purchases. If you purchased your tickets by phone or via our website, additional fees that applied to your order may not be refunded.

Accessibility

We welcome all patrons and offer a selection of various seating to accommodate all needs.  We have a very limited number of listening aid devices (infrared) available upon request at the Box Office.  Please see the box office staff prior to entry and present a valid photo ID.  For patrons seeking accomodations for any impairment (including visual, hearing, or mobility), please select the Accessibile Seating located throughout the theater.  If you cannot locate these seats, please contact the box office directly at 301-600-2828 for assistance.

Wheelchair Seating

We do not have an elevator on site at our venue. We offer seating for our patrons using wheelchairs or motorized chairs of any kind.  This seating is located in Row F, house left and right, but there are no affixed seats there.  This space is sold as 1 space for the wheelchair or motorized chair and 1 companion free-standing seat shall be placed beside such.  For parties of more than two (2), we offer an additional two (2) companion seats in the Row directly behind that area (that would be Row H, house left or right).  You must have this specific need to purchase this seating.  Wheelchair Seating is available for purchase both online and through the box office directly.  Please contact the box office directly at 301-600-2828 for assistance.

ASL Interpreted Performances

The Weinberg has several performances throughout our Season that are interpreted for the Hearing Impaired.  If you would like to request such, please contact our Box Office Manager, Jef Cliber at [email protected] .  Such requests must be made at least 30 (thirty) days prior to the performance date. The Frederick Speaker Series is always ASL interpreted and will be displayed on our large screen.

ATTENTION ALL THEATER PATRONS

The Weinberg Center for the Arts will no longer allow patrons to bring back packs into the theater.  All other bags/purses will be subject to inspection by security at all performances. No firearms are permitted within the theater at any time.
