Brokers & Scalpers

Tickets to all performances at the Weinberg Center are available exclusively from the theater’s own box office and web site. If you purchase tickets from a ticket broker, you are paying a much higher price than you need to. Ticket brokers may make it appear that they have “special access” to the best seats, but all they do is purchase tickets from our box office and resell them to you at a markup. Even when a ticket broker is operating within the law, you still pay much more than you need to, not one cent of the markup goes to the artist or the theater, and if there is anything wrong with your order, the theater cannot help you because you did not purchase the tickets directly from the theater. From points south (DC):

I-270 North to Route 15 North to Exit 13A (West Patrick Street/144 East). Travel approximately 1.5 miles to 6th traffic light. Turn left onto Market Street. Follow to 2nd traffic light, then turn left onto Patrick Street. Weinberg Center is on left.

From points south (Leesburg or WV):

15 North/340 East to end of expressway (becomes Jefferson Street). Continue to 3rd traffic light, then turn right onto South Street. Follow to 3rd traffic light, then turn left onto Market Street. Follow to 2nd traffic light, then turn left onto Patrick Street. Weinberg Center is on left.

From points east:

I-70 West to Exit 56 (Patrick Street/144 West). At exit ramp stop sign, turn right onto Patrick Street. Travel approximately 1.5 miles to 5th traffic light. Weinberg Center is on left in next block.

From points north:

15 South to Exit 13A (West Patrick Street/144 East). Travel approximately 1.5 miles to 6th traffic light. Turn left onto Market Street. Follow to 2nd traffic light, then turn left onto Patrick Street. Weinberg Center is on left.

From points west:

From points west: Merge onto I-70 East toward Frederick. Travel approximately 38 miles (from Baltimore). Take the East Street exit, Exit 54, toward Downtown Frederick. Merge onto MD-85/Buckeystown Pike. MD-85/Buckeystown Pike becomes East Street. Pass through 1 roundabout. Turn left onto East Patrick St/MD-144 West. Cross Market Street. Weinberg Center is on the left.

Parking

From Patrick Street, turn left onto Court Street to parking garage on left ($1 exact change after 6pm and on weekends). Use ground-floor exit to reach Weinberg Center. Limited metered parking is available along adjacent streets (free after 5pm).
