The Weinberg Center for the Arts is located in Frederick County, one of the fastest growing counties in the mid-Atlantic region and home to a thriving arts community just 40 miles from Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The multicultural appeal and affordability of LIVE! programs have created a diversified audience base of all ages, interests, and income levels. WCA patrons reside in Frederick City (54%), Frederick County (29%), Montgomery County (5%), Washington County (1%), and surrounding regions (11%) that include 86 different counties throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia, as well as Washington, D.C. and across the country.
The Weinberg Theater is owned and operated by the City of Frederick, Maryland.
The Weinberg Center for the Arts, Inc.
The corporation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, assists in fundraising and community relations. Funds raised by the corporation are used to underwrite artistic programs and support Weinberg functions. The Weinberg Center for the Arts, Inc., provides a variety of vehicles by which individuals and businesses can donate to help support theater programs or other operations.
