With over 20 years of stand-up comedy experience, Jim Breuer remains one of today’s top entertainers and continues to win over audiences with his off-the-wall humor and lovable personality.  Named one of Comedy Central’s “100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time,” Breuer has found success in various facets of the entertainment industry, and is one of the most recognizable comedians in the business. In addition to keeping busy on his current comedy tour “Heavy Metal Family Man,” Breuer can also be heard on his weekly Sirius/XM Radio show “Fridays With Breuer” and podcast hit, “Podcast Masters.” Jim Breuer’s acclaimed autobiography,  I’m Not High:(But I’ve Got a Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior), was recently released on paperback. In the memoir, Breuer sheds light on his early struggles, his rise to fame and the many lessons he’s learned along in an extremely funny, yet personal and touching way that fans have never seen before.

Opening Act: Doug Powell

Doug Powell has been writing and performing comedy around Washington DC and Baltimore for over a decade. As a storyteller, Doug has performed with such professional groups as Washington DC’s Speakeasy Collaborative, Story League and Baltimore’s “Humiliated” showcase. As a stand-up Comedian, Doug has performed all over the country from his beginnings in Washington DC and Baltimore to the Friars Club in Beverly Hills. As a comedic songwriter and veteran recording artist, he has released four comedy albums with DC-based Hahaas Comedy. This year, Doug’s song “The Night N’Sync & Backstreet Got In A Fight” was selected as a finalist in an international songwriting competition.

2011 marked the release of his latest stand-up album/DVD “I Am You An Hour From Now,” recorded live at the Frederick Cultural Arts Center by Fool Martyr Productions and Hahaas Comedy. Doug can currently be seen performing near his home in Baltimore and the surrounding areas and his work is featured frequently on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Raw Dog Comedy Station.

  1. JIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got to see you in Tampa,fl a few years back! I grew up in a “High-Larious” family.Matter-of-fact my Little Brother is Doug Powell(comedian/Baltimore). Ive seen uncounted funny people, YOU ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! Keep it up,Man!!! I think you are an amazing human being…all around. Its been really cool to follow you life accomplishments , you have done soooo much! Be proud. Your “offspring’s” beautiful.lol
